1. Provide Previous Search & Purchase Info

2. Differentiate Sign In from Sign Up

To me, a sign in button has to be clear. My experience in trying several apps, I prefer apps that show me whether I have to sign in or sign up considering sometime I forgot if I already signed up or not. Many users end up taking the wrong action when attempting to sign up for an account by tapping on the “sign in” button, which then prompts them for a password. Design a “sign in” and a “sign up” that are easily distinguishable from each other so users can get to where they want to go quickly.

3. Match Keyboard With Required Text Input

If your app requires user to input some data, it would be easily if you provide an appropriate keyboard for text entry. Ensure that this is implemented consistently throughout the app rather than only for certain tasks but not others. This will reduce user’s confusion if they hesitate what to fill in.

4. Provide Label and Icon to Clarify Information

Icon is cute but the fact that not everybody understand the meaning of each icon might ruin your spirit.  In our research, we found that icons for a menu, cart, account, or store locator as well as for actions like filtering or sorting are not universal and not well understood across apps. Icons that are labeled are much more likely to be used. Also, apps that provide visual categorizations without a key require users to guess what they represent.

5. Let User Control The Zoom

It would be fun when your user can see product details by zooming the pictures. Small picture doesn’t satisfy them and they will likely cancel their purchase if they can’t see the product clearly.  In particular, we see instances of this when the zoomed-in view forces the user to look at a specific part of the item or takes the image partially off-screen. Put users in control by allowing them to zoom in as they prefer.
